Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini could cut ties with Manchester City at the end of the season, The Mirror reports.
Pellegrini took over the managerial reigns for Citizens from Malaga last season, and guided the club to Premier League glory.
However, The Mirror now claims that Pellegrini's long-term future at City is in doubt following the 2-1 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League.
The report adds that the failure to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League, could lure the club's hierarchy into relieving the Chilean from his duties in the summer.
