Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the progress of on-loan Real Madrid winger Lucas Vasquez with a view to a summer offer for his services.
Vasquez is currently plying his trade at Espanyol on a season-long loan from Los Blancos.
The 23-year-old has been one of the stand outs for the La Liga side, and Todo Mercado web claims that he could favour Liverpool over a return back to the Bernabeu.
However, he could remain at Espanyol should they complete the season on a strong note.
Vasquez has made 19 appearances for the club this season.
