Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the progress of French midfielder Blaise Matuidi with a view to a summer offer for his services.
The 27-year-old, who joined Les Parisiens in 2011, is keen on a switch to the Premier League next summer.
The Mirror reports that the French international's desire to leave the Ligue 1 champions has caught the eye of United boss Louis van Gaal.
However, United are likely to face stiff competition from Manchester City for the player's services.
Matuidi has made 35 appearances for Les Parisiens in all competitions this season.
