Toby Alderweireld is a target for Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window. The Belgian is wanted by Spurs as a part of a new look defensive lineup.
Spurs already have Jan Vertonghen in defence and are considering a move for Alderweireld alongside the fellow Belgian. Currently on loan at Southampton, Alderweireld has impressed in his short loan spell in England. The centre back wants to stay in the Premier League. He defender's parent club Atletico Madrid are looking for a fee of around 8. 5 million euros to sell and Tottenham are confident that a deal can be agreed this summer.
