Celtic eye loan move for Steven Gerrard

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard could join Celtic on loan next season. The player will join LA Galaxy on a permanent deal this summer.

There are reports from Scotland that Gerrard is considering a return to the UK during the MLS off season, making a transfer to Celtic in the process. Gerrard signed a two year contract with LA Galaxy back in September and is set for a Liverpool exit in July. However, Gerrard hopes to follow the lead of David Beckham et al, making a loan switch to Europe.
