German international Marko Marin will head to Chelsea this summer after Anderlecht rejected the option of signing him on a permanent basis.
The 25-year-old. who is expected to be ruled out for the remainder of the current campaign, joined the Belgian giants in January.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht had a clause that would allow them to sign the former Werder Bremen star permanently for £4.5m in the summer.
However, the talented winger has failed to impress at the Belgian outfit, and will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Marin has two years left on his existing contract at Chelsea.
