Manchester United could renew their long-term interest in Fabio Coentrao when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Portugal international was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013, until the deal was squashed by Los Blancos on transfer deadline day.
However, The Mail claims that speculation has been reignited over the player's future, having seen the former Benfica star reveal that it would be a honour for him to ply his trade for United.
Coentrao joined the European champions from Benfica in 2011.
