However, he has failed to score goals on a regular basis since the turn of the year, and this has led to the speculation that he could exit the South Coast outfit at the end of the season.

According to The Mirror, Lazio want to sign the former Feyenoord man as a replacement for World Cup winner Klose, who is expected to retire from professional football this summer.
