Chelsea are believed to be readying a summer bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Antoine Griezmann, according to The Mail.
The French international left Real Sociedad for the Basque outfit last summer, and has since then been in fine form for the club in La Liga.
The Mail now claims that the Blues have become aware of the £43m release clause in Griezmann's contract, a figure that is in the range of the Premier League toppers.
German champions Bayern Munich are also monitoring the player's situation at the Vicente Calderon.
