Newcastle want to snap up Tottenham midfielder Etienne Capoue in the summer. The Toon Army are chasing midfield reinforcements for next season.
Capoue has yet to impress at White Hart Lane but current manager Mauricio Pochettino prefers Ryan Mason in a defensive role at Spurs so far this campaign. Capoue also competes with fellow countryman Benjamin Stambouli for a role in the Tottenham side. Newcastle have already begun negotiations for Capoue and are confident a deal can be wrapped up in the early summer transfer window.
