Man Utd prepare £18.9m offer for Dutch star

Manchester United have reportedly made a bid of £18.9m for Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij.

The talented defender played under Louis van Gaal during the World Cup finals in Brazil last year.

De Vrij has been a key member in Lazio's push for a Champions League spot this season.

According to Metro, United have made a summer offer worth £18.9m for the talented centre-back.

The 23-year-old has made 27 league appearances for the Capital outfit this season.
