The North London outfit were linked with a loan move for the Juventus striker last summer.

However, it is now understood that the club will reignite their interest in the former Athletic Bilbao star in the summer, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on adding a new striker to the club ranks for next season.

Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table.
