Spurs midfielder Benjamin Stambouli is in talks over a return to Ligue 1 with Marseille.

Chelsea set for contract talks with £26m star

The 24-year-old joined Spurs from Montpellier last summer for around £5m, having impressed for the former French champions.

However, it is now believed that Stambouli is keen on a switch back to his homeland, and this has led to Marseille contacting White Hart Lane regarding a possible move in the summer.
