Manchester United are understood to have agreed personal terms with Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi over a summer move.

The Argentine has excelled in his performances since his move to La Liga with Valencia last summer.

According to Argentine outlet Diario Olé, the Red Devils have reach a contractual agreement with the talented centre-back, and only a fee remains to be agreed between the clubs involved.

It is added that United would require at least £36m to tempt Los Che into selling off their star asset.

Otamendi joined Los Che from FC Porto last summer.
