Everton tracking Lukas Podolski

Everton have joined the race to sign an Arsenal player, German international striker Lukas Podolski. The forward will be out of contract next season.

According to several reports, Everton manager Roberto Martinez is ready to spend big to lure the World Cup winning striker to Goodison Park. Podolski spent last season on loan at Inter Milan but failed to impress and has since returned to Arsenal and the German had been hopeful of a second chance at the Emirates. Everton will table an offer this week.
