Sunderland have made an £8m bid for Leeds United defender Sam Byram, according to reports.

  • Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat has been offered with a £40m transfer kitty to spend this summer, as he aims to strengthen the club's back-line.

    The Sun reports that the Wearside outfit have made a summer offer of £8m for Leeds United youngster Sam Byram, who has the potential to play at both right-back and right-wing.

    Sunderland are also believed to have agreed £3.5m fee to sign Liverpool's Sebastien Coates.
