Aston Villa will look to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend following the capture of Micah Richards on a free transfer.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood is expected to make a number of wholesale changes this summer, as the pressure is on him to deliver the goods in his first full season in-charge at the Midlands outfit.

It is now understood that the Villans will move for Spurs winger Townsend, who is expected to be shown the exit door at White Hart Lane this summer.
