Manchester City are sure of sealing a deal for Fulham youngster Patrick Roberts by next week.

The young striker has established himself as a first-team player at the Cottagers, having made 20 appearances for the club in all competitions last season.

Widespread reports claim that the Citizens will sign up the 18-year-old for a fee in the region of £10m in the upcoming week, and are likely to send him on loan for the next campaign.
