Italian forward Fabio Borini will exit Liverpool during the summer transfer window, according to his agent.

The talented striker has failed to make his way into the first-team since his move from AS Roma in 2012, and is now considering a return to Italy with Lazio keen on his services.

Borini's agent has now claimed that the player's feels like a 'lion in a cage' at Anfield, having been overlooked for much of the previous campaign.

The 24-year-old scored a solitary goal in 18 games for his club last season.
