Arsenal to sell David Ospina

Arsenal to sell David Ospina

24 June 2015 - 03:30

David Ospina will join Turkish side Fenerbahce next week in a 6.75 million euro deal.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Colombian goalkeeper will make way for the inbound Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech. Ospina played as first choice at the Emirates Stadium last season after winning the number 1 jersey from Wojiech Szczesny. However, with Arsenal desperate to add a more influential and world class keeper to their squad, the Gunners have moved a step closer to agreeing a deal for Czech Republic star Petr Cech. Ospina will therefore be heading for the exit door, with Fenerbahce understood to have already agreed a fee with Arsenal. That brings the former Nice goalkeeper's stay in North London to a swift but successful end.
