Nigerian international John Obi Mikel is expected to end his nine-year association with Chelsea this summer.

Mikel has struggled to cement a place in the first-team ever since the arrival of Nemanja Matic from Benfica.

According to The Telegraph, the midfield enforcer is ready to call quits to his Blues career for a switch to United Arab Emirates with Al Ain.

The 28-year-old made just five league starts for the West London giants last season, as he fell behind the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in the pecking order.
