Stoke City have rebuffed a summer bid from Aston Villa for star goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Bosnian international has been tipped to leave the Britannia Stadium this summer, with a host of Premier League clubs interested in his signature.
Aston Villa had made a bid of around £4m for Begovic, with Tim Sherwood keen on bringing in a top-class keeper to Villa Park.
However, the Potters have swiftly rejected the offer stating it as 'derisory' and way below their valuation for their star man.
Premier League champions Chelsea have shown keen interest in signing Begovic as a replacement for outbound star Petr Cech.
