Liverpool's Raheem Sterling has been constantly linked with a move to the Etihad, but The Sun now reports that the Mancunian giants are ready to launch a £20m bid for Napoli star Marek Hamsik.

Hamsik has been a consistent performer for the Naples outfit in recent seasons, but the lack of Champions League football could tempt him into a move to Manchester.
