Aymen Abdennour on West Ham radar?

West Ham United have reportedly made a formal approach for AS Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour.

The Tunisian international is said to have attracted interest from several Premier League clubs this summer, following a good season for the Principality outfit.

According to French daily L'Equipe, the Hammers have taken a big stride towards landing the player's services by making a formal offer of £14.3m.

The 25-year-old made 26 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions last season.
