Fenerbahce are believed to have made an offer for van Persie and that has not been accepted yet. Subsequently, van Persie has now told reporters he is planning to stay at Old Trafford for the time being. United manager Louis van Gaal has hinted that it is likely van Persie will only play a small part of the upcoming season in the club's first team. 20
