James McArthur signs new Crystal Palace contract

07 July 2015 - 15:10

Scotland international James McArthur has signed a new three-year contract extension at Crystal Palace.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • The 27-year-old joined the Eagles from Wigan Athletic last summer, and has since then made 32 league appearances for the Selhurst Park outfit.

McArthur revealed that he was never in doubts over signing the new deal.

"I'm delighted. I had a fantastic time last year," he told the club's official website.

"It was an easy decision. There was nothing really to consider. I think there was a bit of general interest [in me], but Palace is where I want to be, I'm happy and that's the main thing in football."
