Everton are considering a transfer window move for Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten. David Moyes is known to be an admirer of the international centre back who currently plies his trade at Bayern Munich.
van Buyten was linked with a move to Man Utd whilst at Marseille, and had said at the time: "I adore English football. It has the best championship in the world and I feel I am made for it."
The centre back is also close friends with Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo, who is also currently at Everton. The two became close friends during their time at Marseille.
Bayern Munich are ready to listen to offers for van Buyten, and Everton may have to pay as much as £5 million to land the centre back.
