Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is reported to have agreed a three-year deal with Manchester United.

The German international, who just has one season left on his existing deal at the Bavarian giants, is said to have agreed on a three-year contract worth £7.2m a year with the Red Devils.

According to German sports daily Bild, the World Cup winner has agreed terms with the Red Devils, and could be on his way to United to a medical.

However, it is added that United are yet to agree a transfer sum with Bayern for the 30-year-old.

Bayern currently value Schweinsteiger at around £15m.
