Aston Villa skipper Fabian Delph has pulled the plug on his proposed transfer to Manchester City after speaking to Etihad flops Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair.
The England international was expected to make his £8m move to the Etihad this week, having agreed on personal terms.
However, the former Leeds United man has made a U-turn following a chat with former City players Richards and Sinclair.
It is added that Delph realised that he could find first-team action hard to come by at the Citizens, and this would affect his place with the national side.
