Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has not given up on his pursuit for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
The Spain international was linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past month, in a deal which could see goalkeeper David de Gea move the other way.
However, De Gea looks likely to stay at the Red Devils, meaning that the club would have to part way with a huge sum to sign up Ramos this summer.
During a press conference in the United States, Van Gaal hinted that the club could seal a deal for the World Cup winner.
"I cannot talk about these rumours. I have said already it's a process and maybe Mr Ramos is in the process, you never know." he said.
