The 31-year-old showed glimpses of his old self during his second spell at Porto.

However, this was not sufficient to earn him a new deal, and he was released on the expiry of his contract in the summer.

Besiktas have now announced the arrival of the talented attacker on a free transfer via their official twitter account.

Quaresma previously plyed his trade for the Turkish giants between 2010 and 2012.
