Porto are set to renew their interest in Brazilian midfielder Bernard, according to a Portuguese source.

The Dragons were close to signing the 22-year-old two seasons ago, until he opted to join Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.

O Jogo now cites that the talented playmaker would consider a move to Porto this summer, given the unstable political situation in Ukraine.

It is added that the Primeira Liga outfit have already made a £12m bid for the player's services, and are waiting on a response from Shakhtar.
