Manchester United are yet to agree any sort of deal with Paris Saint-Germain for the sale of star winger Angel di Maria.

It had been speculated recently that Les Parisiens had agreed a &pound46m bid to sign up the Argentina international this summer.

However, The Guardian reports that the French champions had made a modest bid of only £28.5m, which was a long way short of United\'s valuation for the player.

Furthermore, United expect Di Maria to leave the club in this summer\'s transfer window, and are confident of reaching an agreement over a transfer fee in the coming days.
