Vlad Chiriches to join Napoli

Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches is on the verge of sealing a summer move to Napoli, according to Sky Sport Italia. The Romanian international has struggled to cement a regular spot in the starting eleven since his move from Steaua Bucharest two seasons ago.

Sky Sport Italia claims that the 25-year-old will head to Napoli's summer training base Dimaro to finalize terms over the summer deal.

It is added that the Naples outfit will pay a fee in the region of £3.5m, with an additional £1.42 as performance-related add ons.

Chiriches made just eight league appearances for Spurs last term.
