England international Ashley Young is closing in on a contract extension at Manchester United, according to reports.
The talented winger was constantly the subject of transfer speculation last summer, following a disastrous season under former boss David Moyes.
However, he has been heavily praised for his performances under Louis van Gaal, and looks set to be rewarded with a new deal on an improved wage package.
TalkSPORT cites that Young has agreed to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, but the length of the deal has yet to be revealed.
Young's current deal at United expires at the end of the 2015/16 season.
