Sunderland are in talks with Corinthians to sign up one-time Arsenal target Alexandre Pato.
The 25-year-old has struggled to find his feet since his move away from AC Milan in 2013.
He has since then joined the Corinthians, and has spent the past two seasons on loan with Sao Paolo, where he has shown signs of his oldself.
According to The Mirror, the Wearside outfit are keen on bolstering their attacking options, and are considering a £5m deal for the Brazilian international.
