Derby boss Paul Jewell has admitted that he will be making an offer to French winger Laurent Robert of a trial. The player has been out of contract since leaving Levante.

"Yes, he is coming in on Friday to train with us so that we can have a look at him and see how he looks," Jewell told Sky Sports.





"We are trying to bring in four or five, if not more new faces to help the group.





"He [Robert] is going to train with us for a couple of days to see what condition he is in and see if he is right for us and right for him."
