Sunderland have denied claims that they are in the chase for Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow, The Guardian reports.
Recent reports had suggested that the Black Cats were preparing an improved bid for the Senegalese international, after their initial offer was rejected by the Turkish outfit.
However, the club's hierarchy have distanced themselves from the speculation insisting that they had not made any kind of bid for the talented marksman.
West Ham United have also been linked with the 29-year-old striker, who faces a battle upfront following the arrival of Robin van Persie from Manchester United this summer.
