Tottenham Hotspur to keep Roberto Soldado

04 August 2015 - 05:32

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Spain international Roberto Soldado will remain at the club beyond the transfer window.

  • Arsenal preparing third bid for Spanish star
  • Chelsea ready to sell Christopher Nkunku to Man Utd for £35m?

  • It had been recently speculated that the 30-year-old could be heading out o White Hart Lane, with Villareal keen on sealing his signature.

However, Pochettino has rubbished the claims and expects the player to ply his trade for the club in the upcoming campaign.

"He [Soldado] is our player and in our plans," Pochettino told reporters. "I can't confirm that [he will be leaving]."

Soldado has scored just 16 goals for Spurs since his move from Valencia in 2013.
