Ashley Young has put pen to paper on a new contract to extend his stay at Manchester United until the summer of 2018.
The England international was tipped to exit the Red Devils last summer, following a disastrous spell under former boss David Moyes.
However, he was given a new lease of life under Louis van Gaal, and played a crucial role in United's pursuit for a top four finish last term.
Young revealed his delight after committing his future to the Mancunian giants for the next three seasons.
"I am delighted to have signed a new contract. The spirit and motivation amongst this team is very high and we are all determined to make this a season to remember," he told the club's official website.
The 30-year-old winger joined the Red Devils from Aston Villa in 2011.
