Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia has been long linked with a switch to Old Trafford, with manager Louis van Gaal being a huge admirer of the player's talents.

According to The Sun, Biglia looks set to join the Red Devils in a £17.5m deal after he agreed terms over a four-year contract.

The 29-year-old midfielder was announced as the Lazio captain earlier this summer, in a bid to keep him at the Serie A side.
