The French midfielder returned to the Gunners for second spell in 2013, following his release by AC Milan.

Goal.com cites that the player does not fall into Arsene Wenger's plans for the future, and he has been told that he is free to seek an exit from the Emirates before the transfer deadline.

Flamini hasn't started a Premier League game for the Gunners since December 2014.
