Manchester United are reported to have made a £50m bid for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.
Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has recently issued a hands-off warning to United for the World Cup winner.
However, Kicker claims that United are hoping a fee in the region of £50m would be sufficient to lure the Bavarian giants into the player's sale.
United have already acquired the services of midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich this summer.
