The Gunners have already allowed the likes of Wojciech Szczesny and Damian Martinez move on loan to AS Roma and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively this summer.

According to Spanish daily Marca, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will look to add another shot-stopper to the club's ranks with the future of David Ospina still uncertain.

Jimenez currently has a release clause of around £4.3m.
