Norwich City boss admits Destro interest

14 August 2015 - 14:57

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has confirmed that the club are interested in securing the services of Matteo Destro from AS Roma.

  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?
  • AC Milan make offer to sign Riccardo Calafiori

  • It has been recently speculated that the Canaries had made a £4.5m bid for the Italian international, and Neil has now revealed that talks are ongoing regarding the transfer.

"Yes, he is a player who has been discussed," he told reporters. "I have said before I won't just go and sign players, I will wait to the end if I have to."

Destro has scored 29 goals in 68 games for Roma since his move from Siena in 2012.
