Canaries boss confirms Destro pursuit

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has confirmed that the club are interested in securing the services of Matteo Destro from AS Roma.

It has been recently speculated that the Canaries had made a £4.5m bid for the Italian international, and Neil has now revealed that talks are ongoing regarding the transfer.

"Yes, he is a player who has been discussed," he told reporters. "I have said before I won't just go and sign players, I will wait to the end if I have to."

Destro has scored 29 goals in 68 games for Roma since his move from Siena in 2012.
