Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is considered a top target for Chelsea, according to reports.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has earlier iterated that the club will conclude on the transfer business, as his main focus is on the club's title defence.
However, the Portuguese head coach has had to rethink following the club's 3-0 thumping at the hands of Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
It is now thought that Mourinho has been given the go-ahead to bring in at least three players before the transfer deadline.
Reports in Spain claim that the Blues will renew their pursuit for long-term target Antoine Griezmann, who recently signed a new five-year contract at the Basque outfit.
Griezmann currently has a £56m buy-out clause on his contract.
