United keen on Muller deal

Man Utd table record-bid for WORLD CUP WINNER

19 August 2015 - 05:42

Manchester United are understood to have made a club-record bid to sign one of their top targets in the transfer window.

  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest
  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has been heavily tipped to make a move to Old Trafford this summer, in spite of club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge ruling out chances of the player exiting the Bavarian giants.

According to German sports daily Bild, the Red Devils have tabled a record offer of around &pound59.8m in a desperate attempt to sign up the World Cup winner.

It is added that United have already had two bids knocked back by Bayern for the 25-year-old forward.
