Chelsea have reportedly sent their top officials to seal a deal for highly-rated Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah.

The Ghanaian-born midfielder tops Jose Mourinho's wishlist following a disastrous start to the league campaign.

Reports in Italy claim that Chelsea representatives are jetting to Italy to finalize a deal for the talented midfielder.

It is thought Mourinho is keen on re-energising his squad having acquired a solitary point in the opening two league games.

Cagliari value Donsah at around £10m.
