Man City face Bayern fight in De Bruyne deal

25 August 2015 - 05:39

German champions Bayern Munich could beat Manchester City to the services of Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne, The Telegraph reports.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Belgian international has been constantly linked with a move to the Etihad, and recent reports have cited that the Citizens were closing in on a summer deal.

However, The Telegraph claims that Bayern will strike a deal which would allow them buy the 24-year-old at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

It is added that the Wolves may favour Bayern's approach as they are reluctant to offload their star asset with just seven days left in the transfer window.
